Join Ciarán Farrelly for a brand new set of one day classes that will turn the sods of gardening to give you the confidence to get your fingers green and your boots mucky. Ciarán was one of the many students that have passed through the gardens at Hunting Brook who have gone on to have a fine career in horticulture. He is currently working as a craft gardener in the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin. Ciarán is an energetic gardener with a love for talking to groups about all things plants and gardens.
In this set of classes Ciarán will cover spring, summer and autumn gardening techniques and practices. Join Ciarán to learn how to wake up your garden in spring and tuck it into bed in winter and everything in between. This set of courses will ensure that no matter the season, you will be on your way to creating the floral paradise you’ve dreamed of.
In this autumn course, you will discover that autumn is a vital time for your maintaining your garden for seasons to come. Learn about autumn propagation methods which will fill your garden next year, plant selection for autumn, taking care of tender plants over winter, bulb planting for spring colour.
